I have posted this question in the comments section, but it appears the latter is deserted. During looking at the schematic, I found the usage of C5 is unexpected and different from the Chewborg, which uses the same envelope generator. Should it not be in parallel to R10 or is R11 deliberately included? The latter makes no sense to me. Thanks.

I would like to add a clean blend to this beautiful, but overpowering overdrive circuit (2nd image below, EQD Chrysalis). The JHS Moonshine V2 accomplishes this as shown in the first image. If I am not mistaken, if I transpose this to the indicated location (before 2nd amplification stage), it should work, right? But how would I calculate my resistor and pot values?
