I have posted this question in the comments section, but it appears the latter is deserted.
During looking at the schematic, I found the usage of C5 is unexpected and different from the Chewborg, which uses the same envelope generator. Should it not be in parallel to R10 or is R11 deliberately included? The latter makes no sense to me.
Thanks.
You did indeed. The comments function is quite bad, it doesn't notify if you're anonymous, and either it doesn't always when your are, or I've just missed it. The envelope is the same, but the rectifier isn't. I've used a variation in the compressor because it let me offset the output without unexpected issues. C5 is trying to pull double duty: it limits the bandwidth of the amplifier, but is connected like that to also directly filter a bit the pot coming directly from the power supply. It should do that even if connected to the inverting input though, but I think that was my reasoning.
